The Bombe!

The Bombe!

Each time I get my hands on the biannual edition of Cherry Bombe Magazine I'm compelled to read it cover-to-cover (coming from someone with a stack of books on her bedside table). It's always full of great stories of women in food, the odd recipe and cooking tip too. The latest cover girl, Padma Lakshmi (Indian-born American author, actress and television host) has had me intrigued since I listened to her on the Cherry Bombe Radio Podcast (episode below).

I'm interested to see exactly what her interview covers after reading what magazine editor, Kerry Diamond, told NYMag,

“We’re really in awe of everything she’s been doing for women, especially her spearheading of the Endometriosis Foundation of America. She also speaks out regularly on behalf of reproductive rights, women of color, single moms, breastfeeding, and other topics you wouldn’t expect a food celebrity to go near.”

I'll report back when my copy arrives from Scrumptious Reads.
