Google. The Modern Therapist
If I was born two decades earlier, I'd be an anxious mess I'm sure of it. Because throughout my teenage years and twenties I've been propped up emotionally by my friend Google.
I only really realised this just moments ago as I searched, "feeling exhausted before wedding". Because I am. I'll admit I'm an organised, just get it done kind of person who can usually handle task after task but I've been waking up these past few days feeling burdened, heavy, tired. It doesn't help I have my writing deadline looming but I'm not blaming that. This fatigue is purely emotional (so much planning!)
Anyway, the search was so helpful. It brought up hundreds of blog posts, web articles and chatrooms where brides had expressed the same feelings, including some far worse (panic attacks!), than my own.

I was writing this post almost two weeks ago when I got an emergency call from my Mum. Long story short I had to call the ambulance for the first time in my life. Everyone is well, but it was a scare and I haven't returned to the blog since then.
I had every intention of "finishing off" this piece, but I can't get back in that headspace.
So, onwards and upwards. The wedding is fast approaching and there are lots of exciting details coming together.
More soon.
