Gingerbread Red Velvet Cake

Ooh yeah... Here's some seasonal baking porn for you - Gingerbread Red Velvet Cake. Combining three things I love: cake, gingerbread spices and cream cheese frosting.

I'll admit, though, I've never bothered with red velvet cakes. Perhaps because I'm not keen on putting dye in my food - but this recipe might be enough to pull me across the line. I especially love that it can be made ahead and frozen (I know one of the Three Wise Women would love this fact too).
